Mads in the Mud Pottery joins La Forme on Saturday, November 21, from 8am to 12pm, with a curated collection of handmade ceramics. Finish your modern reformer Pilates class, then browse functional and decorative pieces designed to bring a little more personality into everyday life, right as St. Louis holiday shopping season gets going.
Mads in the Mud is a small-batch ceramic studio. Every piece is made by hand by Mads in her home studio, from throwing and forming to glazing and firing, so no two pieces are exactly alike. Her work pairs playful, sculptural forms with rich glazes and an elevated, modern aesthetic, with options that range from easy-to-gift everyday items to larger statement pieces.
Shop mugs, cups, bowls, vases, planters, serving pieces, spoon rests and other small ceramic goods. Pieces range from about $15 to $150. Most mugs and smaller functional pieces fall between $25 and $50, while larger bowls, serving pieces and statement vases run $50 to $150 and up. Everything is handmade by Mads in the Mud and ready to take home that day, and no pre-booking is needed.
Reserve your reformer at laformepilates.com/schedule and leave room in your bag for something handmade.
